Raising kids was never meant to be a solo job. And supporting families shouldn't be either.
No individual presenters.
Every CONNECTION Conversation brings together two or more professionals with different areas of expertise to explore the same family challenge from multiple perspectives. Because real life doesn't fit neatly into one expert's lane.
Parents aren't just the audience.
You're part of the conversation. Ask a question. Share what you're experiencing. Respond to a prompt. Add your perspective. Help take the conversation somewhere none of us expected. Or turn your camera off, grab a cup of coffee, and simply listen. You choose how you participate.
You know the drill.
You register.
Someone talks at you for 45 minutes.
Maybe there's five minutes for questions at the end.
Then the next expert takes over.
We're not doing that.
There are no traditional solo presentations at CONNECTION Showcase: It Takes a Village. Instead, we're creating live CONNECTION Conversations around the real challenges that come with raising kids. And when we say conversation, we mean it.
Because sometimes the most valuable moment isn't something an expert planned to say. It's the question a parent asks that makes everyone in the room think: "YES. That's exactly what I'm dealing with."
Your Child Isn't a Collection of Separate Problems.
Maybe your child is struggling in school. Is it motivation? Executive functioning? Anxiety? Sleep? Social pressure? Family stress? Something else entirely? Probably some combination of things.
Maybe you're thinking about college, but the conversations about the future keep turning into arguments. Maybe you're trying to set boundaries around technology while also trying to preserve trust. Maybe you're wondering when to push, when to help, and when to back off. Maybe there's something happening in your family that doesn't fit neatly into any category at all.
That's real life.
Yet parents are often left trying to piece together advice from different professionals, different websites, different podcasts, different books, and figure out how it all fits together.
So what happens when we get the professionals, and the parents, in the same room?
That's what we want to find out.
Every Conversation Starts With One Real Challenge.
Then we'll bring together two or more professionals who approach that challenge from different angles. But they won't be delivering two mini-presentations. They'll be talking with each other, and with you.

We'll have a topic and a direction. Our professionals will bring their expertise. Clarissa will guide the conversation. But the people in the room will help shape it.
THAT is the conversation we want. That's the point of doing this LIVE.

Why Multiple Perspectives?
A therapist doesn't need to become a college consultant.
A college consultant doesn't need to become an executive-function coach.
An executive-function coach doesn't need to become a parenting expert.
And a parent doesn't need to become any of them.
That's the point.
Each person sees something different. Each brings different knowledge and experience. Sometimes their perspectives will overlap. Sometimes they won't. Sometimes one professional will notice something another hasn't considered. And sometimes a parent who's actually living it will bring something to the conversation that none of the professionals could.
Because sometimes the most helpful thing isn't finding THE expert with THE answer. It's getting the right people into the conversation.
Families don't need more experts working in isolation.
They need a village of connected people. And parents belong in that village too.
We Don't Promise THE Answer.
In fact, that's part of the point. There usually isn't one.
Two excellent professionals can hear the same situation and notice completely different things. A parent who's living it may notice something neither professional considered. That's where this gets interesting.
We're not bringing everyone together so an expert can tell you: "Here's the right way to parent your child." We're creating a space where we can say:
"Let's look at this together."
You know your family.
Our professionals bring their expertise.
Other parents bring their experiences.
Clarissa brings the questions and CONNECTION.
And together, we get a bigger picture.
What Will We Talk About?
We're still figuring that out. And that's intentional.
The professionals and CONNECTION Conversations for this Showcase are currently being curated. We're looking for topics that reflect real challenges facing families, and combinations of professionals whose different perspectives can make those conversations better. Not topics chosen because someone wants a speaking opportunity. Not presentations someone has delivered 100 times before. Not a collection of experts who happen to be available that day. We're building the conversations around what will be most valuable for families.

I've spent decades working with kids, teens, and the people who care about them. And one thing I've learned over and over again is that CONNECTION changes things. Families grow stronger when people feel seen, heard, understood, and emotionally safe.
And I've come to believe something else: The professionals supporting families can do more when they're connected, too. That's why I don't want to host another event where experts talk and parents listen. I want to create a room where we get curious together.
I'm not hosting this because I'm the expert on every challenge your family might face. I'm definitely not. My superpower is CONNECTION, bringing people, perspectives, resources, and ideas together and asking the questions that help us see things we might not see on our own.
During the Showcase, I'll be part host, part question-asker, part dot-connector, and probably occasionally the person who says: "WAIT. I want to go back to what you just said..." Because sometimes that's where the really good conversation starts.
